VIBRATION CHARACTERIZATION AND STATIC ANALYSIS OF CORTICAL BONE FRACTURE BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSISVIBRATION CHARACTERIZATION AND STATIC ANALYSIS OF CORTICAL BONE FRACTURE BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS The main objective of this research work is to solve the orthopaedic problem of Cortical Bone fracture through the computer simulation based on the FEM. The computer simulation based on FEM is used everywhere in industries. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Finite Element Method (FEM) is an approximation mathematical technique used for the complex object and geometries. The human body is subjected to the machine-induced vibrations several times a day. These vibrations could potentially result in some orthopaedic problems. The orthopaedic aspect of the problem is more severe for working humans who are imposed to the high-energy machine vibrations routinely. The main objective of the cortical bone analysis is to identify natural frequencies and natural vibration modes of the bone. There are several complexities associated with this analysis. To deal with these complexities FEA is an excellent mathematical tool. Cortical bone design is a complex procedure. Design of Cortical bone was done using Solid Edge software and the model is imported in ANSYS 14.0 (FEM based software) for vibration analysis. The analysis shows that the natural frequency of vibration varies from 717 Hz to 6918 Hz. Итого: 286.00руб.
